UNCG Environmental Health and Safety

Environmental Health & Safety is a service-oriented organization dedicated to support the University’s overall mission by inspiring a cultural environment of shared responsibility. R.A.D. for Women (Rape Aggression Defense Training) 

Rape Aggression Defense offers a consistently structured, proactive approach, designed to give women the skills and confidence needed to survive an unexpected attack. Offered by the UNCG Police Department. 


Spartan Open Pantry Food Assistance Program

Wesley-Luther is proud to have founded the Spartan Open Pantry, UNC Greensboro’s food pantry for students and staff in need of assistance. From students who need a little help at the end of the month, to homeless students and families who depend on the pantry for complete support, the SOP assists our neighbors who need a hand.

GROWTH (The UNCG Gerontology Research, Outreach, Workforce development, and Teaching Hub)

GROWTH’s mission is to encourage interdisciplinary and community-engaged research, teaching, and service focused on aging and older adults. All UNCG faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners are invited to participate in GROWTH-sponsored events.
