ANNOUNCEMENT: Beginning Jan 1, 2020 ALL UNCG employees who are members of the State Health Plan will have access to nutrition counseling, workshops, and all related activities and events for FREE, regardless of plan (both 80/20 and 70/30 plan are eligible). All services will be covered by the State Health Plan at 100%, under Preventative Services.
Nutrition Counseling
HealthyUNCG offers one on one nutrition consultations with registered dietitian Cari Culp. Cari is available virtually to assist you individually with meeting your nutrition goals. Whether it is weight management, eating for energy, managing your diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol or just need more help learning how to eat healthy, Cari can assess your current intake and help you create practical goals that will help you become a healthier you.
*In order to minimize safety risks for our staff and our community, beginning March 16th 2020, all appointments with Cari will be conducted virtually. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Nutrition services and consultations are provided by Christie Hunter, RD, LLC and are a benefit of the NC State Health Plan. Beginning in January 2020, ALL nutrition services and consultations will be covered at 100%! Employees on either plan, 70/30 or 80/20, will be able to meet with Cari or attend workshops at NO cost!
Christie Hunter, RD, LLC has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel appointments within 24 business hours, you will be charged $50 for a no-show or late cancellation fee. The Produce Box
The Produce Box is a membership based service that offers members the opportunity to have fresh foods delivered to their door or directly to UNCG! You can customize your box and skip weeks you do not want deliveries. They have a variety of box sizes to meet the needs of every household or you can split a box with a friend!
For UNCG faculty, staff, and students, The Produce Box has WAIVED the annual membership fee!

The UNCG Delivery Hub is located at the Human Resources Building. If you would like your box delivered to UNCG, please put in “723 Kenilworth St, Greensboro, NC 27412 as the delivery address.” Your delivery driver will send a text, once the delivery has been made. You must pick up your items from Human Resources by 5pm on the day of delivery.
