Question, Persuade, Refer, or QPR is a  Suicide Prevention Training designed to increase your ability to recognize suicidal thoughts and behaviors, and to refer the person at-risk to a professional resource. Designed for anyone, the fundamentals of QPR are easily learned and completed by Students, Faculty, and Staff.

THE IMPACT OF LOW CARB/HIGH PROTEIN vs. PLANT BASED DIETS ON HEART HEALTH
Presented by registered dietitian, Cari Culp

Learn about the impact of both plant-based diet and LCHP diets on atherosclerosis, the underlying cause of the number one cause of mortality: heart disease. You will learn the principles of the two dietary approaches and their impact on cardiovascular risk factors. You will also gain lifestyle strategies for dietary change to prevent the development of atherosclerosis.

Koru Mindfulness® 4 Week Workshop
April 7, 14, 21, 28, 12:00 – 1:00 pm
Weatherspoon Art Museum
Koru Mindfulness® is an evidence-based curriculum specifically designed for teaching mindfulness, meditation, and stress management. Participants in the program report being less-stressed, sleep better, and live with greater mindfulness and self-compassion.
The program consists of 4, 60-minute classes over four weeks. Classes will be held in the Weatherspoon Art Museum and all COVID 19 guidelines will be followed.
